Entrepreneurial Background

Founded JYGY.com in 2005/2006 – an early mobile social network. A key feature of JYGY was the ability for users to create their own interactive texting/SMS services. Something that other services such as brightkite have caught on to later. JYGY was more advanced in many ways, using a patented template system to create user definable interactive services based on a scripting language.

JYGY had 20 employees between US, Europe and Viet Nam and was angel funded with 2,3m USD by a private corporate investor. Winning much accolade and industry interest; JYGY was featured at Under The Radar, Web 2.0 Expo, CTIA and other events.

In late 2009 JYGY was sold to start up sports social network Make It Pro, Inc.

Industry Experience

• Senior project manager for at&t messaging platform / infrastructure, mediation, rating and billing
• Large scale implementation project for Cricket Communications
• Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs consulting including press IT for the official visit of President Bill Clinton and public website work.

After Hours

I’m an Aviation enthusiast and hold a private pilot license. Other interests include music, photography and gaming.
